Qard Hassan (Benevolent Loan)
Based on the principles guiding Islamic finance, granting loan for businesses is not encouraged, the members of the cooperative can only be granted benevolent loan for personal use in which amount to be loaned will be determined by the Board of Directors from time to time and the nature of member’s financial need. The repayment of the loan shall be strictly based on shari’ah principles and rulings.
